Lovely afternoon...

But chilly XD.

Dad wanted to go for a walk this afternoon, whilst the sun was shinning, it didn't last long XD.

We went around to the reservoir, which was nicely frozen.

Finally finished...

Finally got around to finishing Blitz.

Looks good, but I'm so glad I bought the other brown minky :D

L'Arc's new single :D

Came yesterday and was so busy (watching Avatar XD) that I didn't get round to listening (and watching the PV) :(.

But made sure I did today and it was well worth the wait :D, awesome song and the P'Unk version of Route 666 was different XD

Now that I've had my hair cut (after 6 months XD), It now looks a bit like Hyde's again =).

Annoying...

Was in one of my crafty moods a couple of days ago and had just settled down to continue with my latest project, when I realised I didn't have any matching thread XD.

Went to the fabric store with my mum the next day and spent £14 on threads XD.

Christmas pressies for my family...

Just a quick post (mainly pic orientated) of the presents I made for my family.

Set it around my animal drawings and so they each got a specific animal. My mum was a reindeer, dad was a moose (his nickname), my brother was a polar bear and his girlfriend was a mouse :D.

First off we have the stockings (Forgot to get a finished pic of my brothers and his girlfriends, so I'll hopefully update them at a later stage).

Made out of felt with the animal appliqued on, found some lovely snowflake buttons at my aunt's shop. In my mind they were supposed to hold all the baked goods, figure and plushies, but I made too much and only the plushies went in xD.

Next are the figures I made out of fimo and painted with acrylics. They were fun (and messy) to make. (Horrid pics).

Lastly and personally my favourite (and everyone else's) are the plushies. Found some lovely minkee on ebay (can't seem to find any where I live)

They all turned out so well :D

Hopefully I'll update the nasty pics with better ones soon :D.

Felt arrived...

My lovely felt arrived a few days ago (finally got round to taking a pic xD), came really quick.

Now I can carry on with my newest project.

You'll have to wait and see what it is :D.

Bambi and Sonic/Clover...

Are finally finished (no more sorting out the polyester stuffing for a while). First off we have Bambi, was going to be a Valentines present for my mum but I couldn't wait XD.

Love how he turned out and as my mum said he kind of does have an owl-ish look xD. Finished off with a satin ribbon (that my mum had to redo because mmine kept coming undone).

Next...

Turned out way better than I thought he would, specially as I had to unpick the body and star again :K. Undecided with the name, it's either Sonic or Clover (probably stick with both xD). I lightly stuffed the wings to give a bit of stiffness.

Love my little bat :D

Need to start something else now and I know just what that is :D.

Success...

I was in town a couple of days ago and in need of some soft pink fabric, as I had used most of it over Christmas. Went to a cheap-ish clothing store and I found just what I was looking for and more xD.

A lovely baby pink bath robe that's really soft (Perfect).

Then I found these lovely raspberry coloured scarves on the sale rack, so I bought a few xD. The material seems the same as my previous pink fabric, which was ace :D

Anyone else go around clothing stores for material?

Grosgrain Ribbon...

Finally got up to my Aunt's today and I saw some nice grosgrain ribbon in her shop.

Just what I need for my future projects :D.

At my latest projects.

First up we have Blitz.

Need to finish the antlers, ears and tail. Was originally going to be my mum's for Christmas, but didn't quite turn out like the others, plus I preferred the minkee I used for my brothers and his girlsfriends cuddlies.

What could they be....

Awww a cute panda. Based on the first animal drawing that my mum asked me to do. Just need to stuff and sew on it's ears and tail.


Lastly...


Hehehe, not quite sure what made me think of a bat, but so glad I did. Same with the panda just needs stuffing and sewing.


Should keep me busy for a day XD. I will post pics when I've finished them.

Surprise for Len

My first craft orientated post :D

Was looking at my nendoroids yesterday and Len's sad little face caught my eye, so I decided to make him a felt cuddly toy.

Decided to embroid the eyes, nose and ears rather than stitch more felt on :) (first time I've done something like this).

Put a small amount of stuffing into it and blanket stitched it together, which my mum taught me a few minutes earlier :D.

Hehe don't they look cute together, although Rin now looks a bit miffed xD.

Hopefully this is only the start of my nendoroid crafts.

Hey...

Welcome to my new blog NattieNoodle, little bit nervous with it being my first one, mainly regarding the fear that no one will read it xD, but I'm sure that's what most new bloggers start out like :).

My main reason for starting this blog is to show others my crafts (with my very few skills) and hopefully show my progression. Also so I don't slack off xD.

I love to draw, even though my drawings aren't fantastic, I find it a good release, as well as crafting whether it's with clay or sewing.

I'm new to sewing, bought my first sewing machine last September. Sewing never really caught my eye at school, but I've recently had the urge to have myself and give to others something that's unique. Plus my family keep telling that I should do something with my animal drawings xD.

I know I'm not the best crafter, but I hope with this blog and bloggers (hopefully!) that I'll be able to learn new techniques and improve.

I'll try to update this blog twice a week, but hopefully more often. I may also incorporate a few of my other interests into my posts, which include photography, baking and nendoroids.
