Turtle

Finally finished the turtle plush which was/is for mothers day (only a few months late xD). The shell was fun to stitch on.

The felt bags are getting better and so are the applique animals

Mum has aptly named him tardy due to how long it took xD

Debut on Folksy

I finaly got round to putting up one of my plushies on Folksy.

I thought I'd start off with one of my minis to see how it goes. I decided to put on a brown mini whoo.

Catch up...

It's been ages since I last updated my blog, time has just flown by :(. So heres a big update post.
First off I finished Tora a couple of days after Chinese New Year. The stripes were a nightmare but atleast they look good xD.
Whilst making Tora I started my Lion (have yet to think of a name). The mane was a pain to stitch on.
My next project was a monkey, which I still havn't finished, but as my dad's Birthday was fast approaching, I had to change my priorities.

I have yet to finish my Mothers day gift, she asked for a turtle :D.

My easter presents for my parents and brother. Mum's is the orange bunny, dad's is the green and my brother's the yellow.

The three big reasons my blog hasn't been updated xD. Pokemon Soul Silver (never too old for Pokemon) and the L'Arc~en~Ciel Trans Asia Via Paris Tour - Tokyo Dome (love it so much), Just need to find a way to get tickets for the 20th Anniversary next year xD. Also been trying to catch up on my anime, hadn't watched any since December, good FMA Brotherhood marathon though.

Latest plush I'm working on is a Tiger, with the lovely orange minkee that arrived last week :D.

Finished Whoodlum

Finally got round to finishing Whoodlum (those wings were evil XD). (Pics are horrid quality, I will take some better ones tomorrow)

The reason why I kept putting him off was that I was secretly making a love owl for my mum XDHeart shaped feathers out of felt.

Ember finished

Finished him a couple of nights ago, but only just got round to taking a photo XDOne of my favourite birds :D

Latest project...

My latest project and carrying on with the mini plushies is Ember the Robin.

Made one for my brother aswell when he stayed over last week (had him slaving over the polyester stuffing xD). Hopefully I'll have him finished by tonight.

Finally finished...

Finally got around to finishing Blitz.

Looks good, but I'm so glad I bought the other brown minky :D

Christmas pressies for my family...

Just a quick post (mainly pic orientated) of the presents I made for my family.

Set it around my animal drawings and so they each got a specific animal. My mum was a reindeer, dad was a moose (his nickname), my brother was a polar bear and his girlfriend was a mouse :D.

First off we have the stockings (Forgot to get a finished pic of my brothers and his girlfriends, so I'll hopefully update them at a later stage).

Made out of felt with the animal appliqued on, found some lovely snowflake buttons at my aunt's shop. In my mind they were supposed to hold all the baked goods, figure and plushies, but I made too much and only the plushies went in xD.

Next are the figures I made out of fimo and painted with acrylics. They were fun (and messy) to make. (Horrid pics).

Lastly and personally my favourite (and everyone else's) are the plushies. Found some lovely minkee on ebay (can't seem to find any where I live)

They all turned out so well :D

Hopefully I'll update the nasty pics with better ones soon :D.

Felt arrived...

My lovely felt arrived a few days ago (finally got round to taking a pic xD), came really quick.

Now I can carry on with my newest project.

You'll have to wait and see what it is :D.

Bambi and Sonic/Clover...

Are finally finished (no more sorting out the polyester stuffing for a while). First off we have Bambi, was going to be a Valentines present for my mum but I couldn't wait XD.

Love how he turned out and as my mum said he kind of does have an owl-ish look xD. Finished off with a satin ribbon (that my mum had to redo because mmine kept coming undone).

Next...

Turned out way better than I thought he would, specially as I had to unpick the body and star again :K. Undecided with the name, it's either Sonic or Clover (probably stick with both xD). I lightly stuffed the wings to give a bit of stiffness.

Love my little bat :D

Need to start something else now and I know just what that is :D.

Sneak Peek...

At my latest projects.

First up we have Blitz.

Need to finish the antlers, ears and tail. Was originally going to be my mum's for Christmas, but didn't quite turn out like the others, plus I preferred the minkee I used for my brothers and his girlsfriends cuddlies.

What could they be....

Awww a cute panda. Based on the first animal drawing that my mum asked me to do. Just need to stuff and sew on it's ears and tail.


Lastly...


Hehehe, not quite sure what made me think of a bat, but so glad I did. Same with the panda just needs stuffing and sewing.


Should keep me busy for a day XD. I will post pics when I've finished them.

Surprise for Len

My first craft orientated post :D

Was looking at my nendoroids yesterday and Len's sad little face caught my eye, so I decided to make him a felt cuddly toy.

Decided to embroid the eyes, nose and ears rather than stitch more felt on :) (first time I've done something like this).

Put a small amount of stuffing into it and blanket stitched it together, which my mum taught me a few minutes earlier :D.

Hehe don't they look cute together, although Rin now looks a bit miffed xD.

Hopefully this is only the start of my nendoroid crafts.
